Refund Policy

Overview
OpenPanel LLC ("Company," "we," "us") offers commercial hosting panel licenses sold through our website at openpanel.com and billed via WHMCS. This Refund Policy governs all purchases of monthly and annual license subscriptions. By purchasing a license, you agree to the terms set forth below.
Try Before You Buy
Before purchasing a paid license, we strongly encourage all prospective customers to evaluate OpenPanel using the following no-cost options:
- Community Edition - Free forever, no license required.
- Enterprise 30-Day Trial - Full-featured trial of the Enterprise license at no charge
Refund requests based on incompatibility, unsuitability, or feature misunderstanding will not be approved if adequate evaluation using the above options was reasonably available prior to purchase.
Refund Eligibility
A refund may be requested only if ALL of the following conditions are met:
- The license has NOT been activated. Once a license key is activated on any server or environment, the license is considered used and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
- The refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date.
- The request is made by the original purchasing account holder through our support system.
Refunds will NOT be issued for:
- Any activated license, regardless of usage duration.
- Requests submitted more than 7 days after purchase.
- Dissatisfaction with features that are publicly documented (including the Docker-per-user architecture).
- Partial billing periods on monthly or annual subscriptions.
- Subscription renewals (monthly or annual).
How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request, contact our support team via this support ticket or at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase. Your request must include:
- Your order number and registered email address.
- Confirmation that the license has not been activated.
- A brief reason for the request.
We reserve the right to verify activation status before approving any refund. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method (PayPal, or Stripe) within 5–10 business days.
Chargebacks & Disputes
Filing a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting our support team may result in immediate suspension of your license and account. We encourage all customers to reach out to us directly before initiating a dispute with their payment provider.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the United States of America. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in accordance with applicable Delaware and federal law.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
