Terminal

The Web Terminal is available in OpenAdmin, allowing Administrators to manage their server environment directly from the browser.

1. Log in to your OpenAdmin panel.
2. Navigate to Server > Terminal.
3. Use the dropdown menu or selector to choose your preferred shell type: sh or bash.
4. The terminal interface will load, and you can begin typing commands immediately.

Other sessions already open on the server are shown next to the page description: web terminals with the admin, IP and start time, and SSH sessions with the IP they're from. On a user's container terminal, other web terminals open on the same container are shown.

Open with a command​

Add ?cmd= to the terminal address to type a command as soon as the shell is ready, for example /terminal?cmd=uptime or /terminal/john/mariadb?cmd=mariadb%20wp_blog. The Terminal action on the Databases page uses it to open a database client.

The command is run right away only when you came from a link inside OpenAdmin. When the link comes from anywhere else, like an email or chat, the command is typed but not run, and the terminal asks you to check it and press Enter.
