📄️Domains
To create a website, the first step is to add a domain name.
📄️Add new domain
To add a new domain, simply enter the domain name and click Add Domain:
📄️Redirects
If the Domain Redirects feature is enabled, you can create and manage domain-level redirects from the Domains page.
📄️DNS
The DNS Zone Editor enables you to manage and edit Domain Name System (DNS) zone files, which are essential for mapping domain names to IP addresses and handling various DNS records such as A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records.
📄️Dynamic DNS
Keep your DNS records automatically in sync with changing IP addresses using a secure token URL.
📄️SSL
OpenPanel automatically generates and renews SSL certificates for all domains using Let's Encrypt.
📄️Edit VHosts File
A Virtual Host (or vhost) is a domain-specific configuration file used by the web server.
📄️Suspend a domain
You can temporarily suspend a domain from the Domains page. When a domain is suspended, its website content is replaced with a Suspended Website page, as configured by the Administrator.
📄️Change Docroot
The Change Docroot option allows you to set a custom document root (docroot) for your domain.
📄️Unsuspend a domain
To restore access to a suspended website, you can unsuspend the domain from the Domains page.
📄️Capitalize Domains
The Capitalize feature allows you to change the letter casing of your domain names for display purposes in the OpenPanel UI. This affects how domains are shown across all pages, without altering the actual DNS or domain configuration.
📄️GoAccess
OpenPanel integrates GoAccess, a powerful open-source log analyzer, to provide detailed visual traffic reports for each domain.
📄️Raw Access Logs
The Raw Access Logs feature is available in your OpenPanel dashboard only if the Domain Logs module is enabled on the server and your user account has the necessary permissions.
