The File Manager interface allows you to manage files for all your domains located inside the /var/www/html/ directory.

📄️FTP Accounts

OpenPanel accounts can create FTP sub-users that share the FTP service with all other FTP users on the server. Connect using the server IP address and port 21.

📄️Upload from Device

The Upload from Device page allows you to easily upload files from your local device to a selected directory on the server.

📄️Download from URL

The Download from URL feature allows you to fetch files directly from the internet into your selected directory.

📄️Malware Scanner

The Malware Scanner feature (labeled ClamAV Scanner in the Files sidebar) is available in your OpenPanel dashboard only if ClamAV is enabled on the server and your account has permission to use it.

📄️Backups

In OpenPanel, backups are configurable directly by the panel users, unlike other panels where backups are managed by the admin.

📄️Fix Permissions

The Fix Permissions tool is designed to automatically correct file and folder permissions for your websites, ensuring that they are secure and function properly.

📄️Backup Wizard

Create a full account backup that can be downloaded and later used to restore your account on another server.

📄️Trash

When deleting files you can select to permanently delete them, or to place them in the Trash (default option).
